Get an overview of the resources available at BusinessObjects Expert and what it means for users and administrators.
We know some BusinessObjects users and administrators – many of them longtime customers of the software – feel left behind or forgotten about ever since SAP acquired BusinessObjects.
Some of those users are big fans of the traditional BusinessObjects tools, such as Xcelsius dashboards and Crystal Reports. Others want to take their business intelligence efforts further into other BusinessObjects areas. And others still simply need advice on creating better queries.
Do you fall into any of these camps?
If you answer yes, we here at BusinessObjects Expert want to be your online resource for BI-related information in the BusinessObjects suite. User and administrator needs are very different than those of developers and project managers. You may not want to know about how to integrate with other SAP solutions, but you do want to know how to develop a better dashboard. You may not need to understand what technical platform your company operates on, but you do need to train yourself or others on how to more efficiently use BI capabilities.
The features on this site are designed to help BI users excel at wielding tools such as BusinessObjects Explorer and Web Intelligence while staying platform independent. Yes, we know SAP owns BusinessObjects, but we don’t want to consume your time with SAP tie-ins.
Instead, through our free content and our premium, subscriber-based tips and expert advice, we hope to help you perform your day-to-day jobs better.
We’re excited to work with a tremendous roster of technical editorial advisors, who combined have dozens of years of experience in deploying and using BusinessObjects BI tools. The advisors will guide our future efforts to bring you the best content possible.
Our menu along the left side of the home page let’s you pick which BI tools to focus on, while the choices along the top of the page guide you by important concerns and topics.
If you haven’t done so yet, register for free on our site to read and comment on our blogs, e-tips, and a sampling of our articles. And if you like what you see, take the next step and subscribe for access to an ever-expanding series of premium expert information, tools, and how-to help.
If I can be of any assistance, please email me.
